Lydia 

Hi! My name is Lydia Carr. I am an senior Art Education Major with a concentration in pottery. I love traveling, knitting, hanging with friends, and creating art. I grew up moving all over, my dad was in the military, and I have lived in places like Hawaii, Japan, South Carolina, Florida, just to name a few! I am so excited to work with everyone, and explore mediums. 

 

 

 

Katie

Hi, I’m Katie Kutz, an Art Education student at CSU. I am 23 years old from Longmont, CO. My favorite medium is charcoal, I love figure drawing and spend a lot of time studying different body parts. I occasionally work in oil paint as well and have been gaining interest in working with fibers, learning how to sew and screen print. I also love to go hiking and on the rare occasion I bring one of my three dogs along with me. I hope to become a secondary art teacher and eventually I hope to have my own studio where I can teach classes and provide studio space for those in need.

Madison 

My name is Madison Martindale. I am 21 and dual majoring in visual arts and psychology. I spent my life moving every three years in a military family. I hope to become an art therapist working with veterans on the east coast.

Priscilla 

My name is Priscilla Gonzalez, I have two boys, ten and twelve and a husband that is a musician. We love Star Wars and Marvel movies. We enjoy taking our dog Leia for long walks and eating ice cream. Art is such an effective way of communicating across languages and cultures. I really look forward to being an art teacher and helping students explore their creative side and the communication skills art can facilitate! I'm still not certain but I think my concentration will be in metalsmithing.

Kasandra 

My name is Kasandra Anaya. I am an Art Education major with a concentration in Fibers. I was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which made me develop a love for art as well as nature. My hope that as an art teacher, I'll be able to help students explore their creativity through different mediums.
