Overall, Boltz Middle School was a great experience, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The three takeaways I have from this experience, learning to adapt to any content, I didn't have the classroom that I really wanted, I wanted to be in an art class. But, I got placed in a special education class and it was amazing. It was such a fun bunch of students and it made me have a love and understanding for this certain population. The second take away is, teaching online. Half way though the semester, the district decided to move the school online, I knew it was going to be challenging for the teachers and the students. But Boltz really showed me how strong their community is, and I am amazed how successful they are and how much they want the best for their students. Last take away, is the community we have made in our 350 class, I have met some amazing future teachers, and I am excited to see where a lot of them flourish. I will be staying in contact with most of them for the future because of how much I will benefit from their opinions and feedback.
