Element A: Teachers foster a predictable learning environment characterized by acceptable student behavior and efficient use of time in which each student has a positive, nurturing relationship with caring adults and peers.
Rationale: Creating a a positive and respectful learning environment is important to me, using this standard in my classroom is key for successful learning.
Reflection: My management plan is one of the ways that I will hand out to my students to create a positive and respectful environment. I want my students to understand the expectations of what it means to be part of my classroom.
Element B: Teachers demonstrate an awareness of, a commitment to, and a respect for multiple aspects of diversity, while working toward common goals as a community of learners.
Rationale: This element is important for any teacher, because we need to know and have awareness of all the different personalities, identities, and learners that we have in the classroom. I strive to create a inclusive learning environment for my student to thrive.
Reflection: I added my teaching philosophy to show my personal beliefs in creating this type of learning environment. I wanted to show what I personally believe and what I want to create into my future classroom.
