The Phoenix Pride matrics is what is key at Boltz Middle School, it sets the expectations of students and teachers, and creates a level or professionalism, and ethical conduct. My time at Boltz Middle School reflected that, and you could see how it really was sticking with the Phoenix Pride. You could tell it was important to the school, and that they had pride in how their school functioned. Back in the beginning of the semester, we attended a diversity workshop with the Business Diversity Leadership Alliance (BDLA), and it was a interesting workshop on diversity and what that looks like in rural and lower income schools. I think it was helpful for teaching and also as a student of Colorado State University.
